Example workflow

The problem

Your happiest customers are the least likely to review you.

Satisfied customers get on with their day. Frustrated ones look for somewhere to say so. Without a system, your public reputation is shaped by whoever feels strongest, not by how most customers actually feel.

Nobody asks at the right moment

Staff forget, or ask at checkout when the customer is already halfway out the door.

Problems surface in public first

You learn about a bad experience from a one-star review instead of a conversation.

Asking feels awkward

Requesting a review in person is uncomfortable, so it quietly stops happening.

Replies fall behind

Unanswered reviews, good and bad, look like nobody is listening.

Quick answer

What is review automation?

Review automation is a system that asks every customer for feedback after their appointment or job, sends satisfied customers a simple link to leave a public review, and alerts the owner when a customer is unhappy so the problem can be resolved quickly.

Done right, it's consistent and honest: every customer is asked, nobody is prevented from posting a public review, and no review is ever written, bought or filtered. Google's policies prohibit selectively soliciting positive reviews, and the FTC's rule on consumer reviews bans fake and paid-for reviews, so we build systems that respect both.

The payoff is a steady flow of genuine reviews plus an early warning system for service problems.

How it works

How review automation works

  1. 01

The visit or job is completed

Triggered from your booking or job system, or a simple completion list.

  2. 02

The customer gets a short feedback request

A friendly text, timed to arrive while the experience is fresh.

  3. 03

Satisfied customers get an easy review link

One tap to your Google Business Profile or another review site whose rules allow requests.

  4. 04

    Unhappy customers reach you first

You're alerted immediately so you can respond personally, and they remain free to review publicly.

  5. 05

    Replies and reporting

New reviews are tracked, reply drafts wait for your approval, and trends appear in your summary.

Interactive workflow

Two customers, two paths, one honest system

After a salon appointment, each client gets the same request. What happens next depends on their answer.

FAQ

Review Automation questions

Is it allowed to ask customers for reviews?

Yes, on platforms like Google that permit it. What's not allowed is faking reviews, paying for them, or asking only the customers you expect to be happy.

Why not filter out unhappy customers before asking for a review?

Because that's review gating: it violates Google's review policies, can put your profile at risk and isn't honest. Our system routes unhappy customers to you first but never blocks them from reviewing.

Can we offer a discount for leaving a review?

No. Google prohibits offering incentives for reviews, and the FTC's rule bans incentives tied to positive reviews. We keep requests simple and honest.

Which review sites do you support?

Google Business Profile is the most common. Some platforms, including Yelp, ask businesses not to solicit reviews, so we follow each platform's rules and point requests only where they're allowed.

Can the AI reply to reviews for me?

It can draft replies in your voice for you to approve. Nothing posts without your sign-off unless you ask us to set it up that way.
